Hi everyone! I'm Dr. Kristin Sullivan and I wanted to use this page to tell Our Story.
I knew from the time I was 7 years old that I wanted to be a veterinarian. My mother still proudly recalls the very moment that I walked up to her in the second grade and said "I want to be an animal doctor." I have always had a passion for all animals; starting at the ripe age of 3 years old when I took in two stray kittens (named Smokey and Bar-B-Que; Bar-B-Que was adapted from the only word I could read at the time).
My husband has always shared a love of animals with me and is my number one motivator! I have always wanted to own my own veterinary practice, and having such a great support system through my husband and family has been such a blessing.
I have nearly 20 years experience of working with animals. From pregnancy checking cattle at my grandparents' livestock auction to family pets of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and fish, and fostering one cranky bird named "Sweetcheeks" in veterinary school.
I have been practicing veterinary medicine for over 9 years and fall in love with my career more and more every day. There are good days and there are great days; although it is not always easy, it is always rewarding, whether I am meeting a new puppy or kitten or providing comfort to a long-time best friend.
It is my sincerest hope that my clientele and their fur-family feel comfortable and know that they are in loving, caring hands.
